Maturity Assessment

Maturity Assessment capability evaluates how the various functions across an organization are contributing towards achieving organizational objectives. The maturity assessment model that the Lazsa Platform offers, helps you assess the various capabilities under the following categories:

  • Organization
  • Product
  • Team

The sub-categories that are assessed include:

  • Product Management
  • Data Engineering
  • DevSecOps
  • Product Security
  • Team Maturity

You can either take an assessment for a specific category like team maturity or overall assessment that covers all the categories. You can configure the categories and sub-categories for which you want to carry out the assessment. After the assessment is complete, you can do the following:

  • View the spider chart for maturity assessment
  • Create a baseline for future reference and comparison
  • View the dashboard to go through the detailed findings

How do I perform maturity assessment?

Here are some high-level steps that you must complete to perform maturity assessment:

  1. Configure Maturity Assessment Settings.
  2. Add or Create Questionnaire Using Templates
  3. Initiate Product or Team Maturity Assessment at a product level or feature level. Assign the questions to respondents and initiate the assessment. The respondents can look at the assessment from User Profile > My Assessments and respond to them.
  4. View and Baseline Maturity Assessment to check the overall maturity assessment level and the category.
  5. Create a baseline of the maturity assessment that is complete. This creates a copy of the existing record. Baselining helps you compare an existing score with a new score to assess the progress that you have made.
  6. View graphs for maturity assessment of a product or feature based on release trains, from the Dashboards workspace.
